Call Management

My SIP Switch features a live online management system where all your incoming and out going calls will be displayed. Hang-up, hold, resume, transfer or forward calls on the fly. Imagine it as a virtual switch board where you can direct your calls exactly where you want to.

Features

Live call display
Incoming and outgoing calls from your registered SIP account will be displayed live once initiated. The call time is refreshed every second for up-to date call duration info.

Hang Up
Once a call is completely established and appears as "active" on the switchboard, you can hang it up with the "hang up" tool. First, select the call you want by clicking on the "Select This Call" button and then click "Hang Up". That's it, job done!
The call will disappear from the Calls in Progress list and be added to the Completed Calls list.

Hold / Resume
Once again select a call and then click "Hold", the person on the other end will hear music. Simply click "Resume" and your call is continued.

Transfer
Only a call in progress can be transferred, to do this use the Call Forwarding Function. While a call is in progress or on hold, enter a number you wish to transfer to by selecting the call and clicking on the "Transfer" button. You will receive and acknowledgment once the call has transferred.

Forward
The call forwarding function is dedicated to incoming calls which have not been answered yet. You will receive and acknowledgment once the call has transferred.

How might I use My SIP Switch ?

This VoIP tool could prove to be handy for many different situations, here is a list of a few we thought of:

  1. My SIP Switch is great if you are a start up company who needs a feature rich phone service but the price tag.
  2. My SIP Switch will give you better features if you are using a combination DECT phone + ATA user as some times these can be quite limited.
  3. If you often work remotely, far from your colleagues, you can still transfer or forward calls to them.
